Managing your site's pages

Create a page (with or without AI assistance), rename it, choose the home page, delete it, and set its address.

The Pages section of your site lists all of its pages, with a search function. This is where you create, rename, tag, and delete pages. Their content is edited in the editor, and whether they appear in the menu is set in Menu / Navigation: a page that isn't in the menu still exists.

Creating a page

  1. Click New Page and give it a name (60 characters maximum). This is its internal name, the one used in the menu and the page selector.
  2. Optional: describe the page in one sentence (“pricing page with frequently asked questions, no testimonials”). The page structure is then prepared for you, with suitable blocks and sample text. This preparation doesn't use any energy.
  3. Open the page in the editor. To have the AI write the actual text, use the assistant's Write the content of this page suggestion. Without a description, the starting page is empty.

Renaming, tagging, and choosing the home page

  • Edit page (the name, or the pencil) changes its internal name and, if your menu has entries, the section it belongs to. Its address, on the other hand, is set in the editor (see below).
  • Tags: internal labels to help you find your pages (“seasonal”, “to review”). They are never published. Tag selection applies tags to several pages at once.
  • Set as home page: the chosen page is served at the site's root; the previous home page becomes a normal page again.

A page's address and its indexing

In the editor, open the page and then Page Properties: there you set its URL (48 characters maximum), its title for Google, its description, its share image and, if needed, a ban on indexing. The home page is served at the root and has no editable URL. If you change the URL of a page that is already online, the old address will automatically redirect to the new one after the next publication. See Page Properties.

Deleting a page

Delete asks for confirmation: deletion is permanent and removes the page from the menu. The live site only changes at the next publication. To keep a page without showing it, simply remove it from the menu.
