- Do I need to know how to program?

No, with neither of them. You put your pages together by moving blocks around, and the code is produced for you. Being able to read HTML helps now and then, but it is never required.
- Is the website really mine?

Fusion The project is a folder on your disk, and the website is published with the hosting provider you chose. Your files are already with you.
Tempo An export button hands your website back to you as standard web pages, hostable elsewhere. Export is part of the subscription.
- Which hosting provider should I choose?

Fusion Whichever you want: a Linux server with PHP 8.1 or newer, and support for .htaccess files.
Tempo The question doesn't come up: hosting and publishing are included.
- What happens if I stop paying?

Fusion The licence is a purchase: it doesn't stop, and the software carries on working.
Tempo The subscription ends and the website stops being published. You can export your website before you go, and nothing is deleted straight away.
- Can I sell online?

Fusion The shop is published with your hosting provider, which needs to provide PHP.
Tempo The shop is part of the website, with nothing to install or configure.
- Can my website be in several languages?

If you want it to be, on both sides. Languages are part of the project, with an automatic translation that you read over before publishing.

The question isn't which one is better, it's which one fits the way you work. We have written a whole page to help you decide, including pointing you to the other one.
- I'm coming from an older version, what happens to my website? Fusion

It carries on working, and your licence stays valid. Moving to Fusion is not an automatic conversion: your content carries over, the layout is done again.
