The press release for the launch of Tempo, high-resolution images and a person to write to.

Press release, September 29, 2026

WebAcappella launches Tempo, its online website builder, and Fusion continues

Tempo does not replace the Fusion software. The two products evolve side by side, for two ways of building a website.

Bègles, near Bordeaux. WebAcappella, which has been making website building tools since 2005, is launching WebAcappella Tempo, an online service for restaurants, salons, clinics and stores. All it takes is a description of the business. Tempo writes and lays out a real first version in a few minutes. You adjust it, then you publish.

From then on, an assistant built into the editor handles the day-to-day changes: an opening time, a price, a photo, today's special, or a blog post it drafts before publication. Tempo runs in the browser, from a computer or a tablet.

The editor already contains the blocks these businesses need: restaurant menu with QR code, services and prices, schedule and business hours, online store with no commission on sales, website in two languages translated by AI, visitor statistics with no cookies and no trackers. The website can be exported at any time as standard web pages that can be hosted elsewhere, and the export is part of the subscription.

Fusion continues

WebAcappella Fusion, the software for Mac and Windows sold as a license for life, stays in the catalog and keeps evolving, for those who prefer to build their website themselves and host it wherever they want. It is now at service pack 4. New features arrive in the same software, projects open as they are from one update to the next, and fixes reach users at no extra cost, however old the license is.

Two ways to build a website, with the same promise. Either way, the website belongs to the person who made it. Fusion's files are on their computer, and a Tempo website can be taken away through the export.

For twenty years, our customers have said the same thing to us: I'd like a nice website, but I don't have the time. Tempo is our answer. Fusion is still there for the people who enjoy composing every note. One doesn't replace the other.
