Advanced rich text with blocks

The Block Text component in WebAcappella offers advanced flexibility for organizing and structuring textual content on your website. Each block can be a paragraph, a bulleted list, or a heading with three different levels, allowing for a clear and hierarchical presentation of information.

What's the point?

Unlike the standard text component, the text component with blocks is designed to create large areas of text, similar to those in a blog repeated over several pages, while ensuring consistent formatting across all of these pages.

This component is not necessarily superior to the classic text component; rather, it meets different needs. It offers fewer individual customization options, but allows for easier harmonization across multiple pages that use it.

Key points

How to use

  1. Add the component: Open your WebAcappella project and add a Block Text component to the desired location.
  2. Configure the blocks: Choose the type of each block (paragraph, bulleted list, or title) and enter the desired text. Adjust individual styles as needed.
  3. Customize the appearance: Use the configuration options to set fonts, colors, spacing, and bullet styles.
  4. Manage indents: Use the Tab key to increase a block's indent and Shift+Tab to decrease the indent, in order to visually organize the content in a consistent manner.
  5. Edit in a new window: Click the "Edit in a new window" option to open the text editor in a separate window. Use drag and drop to easily rearrange blocks.
  6. Structure content: Organize blocks to give your text a clear structure.

Conclusion

The Blocked Text component is essential for effectively presenting textual content on your WebAcappella website. Its flexibility and customization allow it to adapt to a wide range of presentation and hierarchy needs, improving the user experience and overall readability.
