Advanced rich text with blocks
The Block Text component in WebAcappella offers advanced flexibility for organizing and structuring textual content on your website. Each block can be a paragraph, a bulleted list, or a heading with three different levels, allowing for a clear and hierarchical presentation of information.
What's the point?
Unlike the standard text component, the text component with blocks is designed to create large areas of text, similar to those in a blog repeated over several pages, while ensuring consistent formatting across all of these pages.
This component is not necessarily superior to the classic text component; rather, it meets different needs. It offers fewer individual customization options, but allows for easier harmonization across multiple pages that use it.
Key points
- Flexible text blocks: Create text blocks that can be customized as paragraphs, bulleted lists, or headings. This allows you to effectively structure content, whether for detailed articles, descriptions, or guides.
- Three levels of headings: Use up to three levels of headings to organize your sections, providing a visual and logical hierarchy that helps readers navigate the content easily.
- Customizable bulleted lists: Bulleted lists make it easy to highlight key information. Customize the style of the bullets to match your site's graphic charter.
- Customizable appearance: Change fonts, sizes, colors, and spacing to harmonize each block with the rest of the site.
- Indent management: Manage the indents of each block using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to increase or decrease the indent respectively, allowing for better visual organization.
- Edit in a new window: Use the "Edit in a new window" feature to open the text editor in a separate window, making it easy to drag and drop blocks to rearrange content.
- Responsive design: Blocks automatically adapt to the screen size, ensuring optimal readability on all devices.
