Server requirements

To get the most out of WebAcappella, we recommend that you use hosting that meets the following criteria:

• Linux/Apache server: Linux servers with Apache are preferred for their performance with PHP.

• PHP support: We recommend that you have at least PHP 7.4 installed on your server to ensure optimum compatibility.

• .htaccess file management: Available on most shared hosting plans

No database required!

These requirements are generally included in the basic configurations offered by the majority of today’s hosting providers.

Tip

We strongly advise against using PHP versions 7.1 and 7.2, as security vulnerabilities have been identified. This applies regardless of the CMS or application used.
